Brutalist Architecture - Brighton Marina

The concrete structure is my favourite part of the Marina; it is its skeleton, the bones. The construction began in early 70s when concrete was very much in fashion, the building material promising eternal stability. There is something masculine about the way it looks; it is brutal yet beautiful, reminding me of the New Brutalism which emerged in 1950s Britain, one of my favourite architectural styles.
